problem with the terrain level and roads

Hi again!

I'm having this problem that some of the roads disappear under the uneven terrain when I place lots. In the lot it looks good but in the neighbourhood view it looks like that. I tried to fix it with LotAdjuster but I was a bit scared to try anything rash. I thought I ask first if anyone has any good tips?
