My computer, which was new to me close to 2.5-3 years ago (and which belonged to someone else for ~2 years before that) is now showing signs of needing to be replaced. It takes 14 minutes to boot up, which is 13.5 minutes longer than it should, and System Restore throws fatal errors when asked to roll back the clock. It does run just fine once I've actually convinced it to turn on, but the boot time has been getting longer and longer, and since it's so elderly, I'm thinking it might just be time to replace the thing.
So: What computer setup is best for playing TS2? The game is literally the only thing I need to take into consideration, since everything else I do with my computer could also be done with my tablet or a bottom-of-the-line laptop.
EDIT: After doing a little poking around, it looks like basically any computer with a dedicated graphics card will work just fine in terms of memory, CPU, and RAM. So really the only questions left are:
1. Is a solid state drive better or worse for TS2 than a hard drive?
and
2. What graphics cards are good/should be avoided like the plague?
I assume anything that I buy will come with Windows 10, will need to use the Ultimate Collection, and will therefore need to also use assorted fixes and graphics rules maker tweaks.
